I am a Catholic Christian, Wife of 23 years to an amazing man and mother of 3 exceptionally unique teenagers. I can be prideful, vain, extremely competitive, weak in the face of temptation, introverted, argumentative, self-centered…I also cuss more than I should and enjoy my Pinot Noir a little too much.
Despite all of this, I am LOVED by God unconditionally, completely, exactly as I am. “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139 is my favorite!), a work in progress, striving towards the holiness that we are all called to (Romans 1:7) and consistently falling short (Romans 3:23). I am eternally grateful that there is nothing, NOTHING that I could do that could cause my God to no longer love me (Romans 8:38-39).
I struggle daily and make a lot of mistakes. But, each time Jesus picks me back up, dusts me off and places my feet firmly back on His path with sufficient grace to get me through that particular day (2 Cor 12:9). This blog is about my struggles with following that path, but more importantly about the graces God has given me along the way and the things He has shown me in hindsight. My hopes and prayers are that somehow by me sharing my struggles, graces received and words He has given me, you will be blessed with insight into your own journey.
